Sina Hospital & Maternity Center, the first private hospital in Khorasan Province, was established in October 1968 by seven senior physicians in the city of Mashhad. The hospital operates as a for-profit institution and provides 24-hour medical services to patients.
In 1993, the hospital expanded its physical space by two-thirds, increasing its bed capacity from 75 to 132 beds.
